One of the first places my husband took me to eat during our first trip to NH in our earlier dating days was the Red Fox Bar and Grille in Jackson. I vaguely remembered it being packed with a great atmosphere. Since that time, we've taken many trips to the White Mountains with and without the family, but for some reason, we haven't traveled back to the Red Fox Bar and Grille until this last quick trip and we will never make that mistake again....the place is AWESOME! It's a MUST stop when in the area!
While we were up in NH to close on our studio unit at Attitash Mountain Village for a few nights, we were looking for places to grab food on a Monday evening. A lot of places are closed since it's not the most popular night of the week for dining out and it's kind of off-season right now so we couldn't hit a few of our regulars this trip. I did a quick Google search and found the Red Fox again with its rave reviews and liked the fact that they are open 7 days a week. We decided to head out and grab a quick bite there for the evening.
The service was great and the food was amazing! Tony grabbed the special which was a beef stew in a bread bowl while I ordered some funky brick oven pizza off their menu and both were phenomenal. We definitely have to bring the kids next time we go because the menu is perfect for them with some funky things and some traditional favorites...definitely a great place for all! Have you tried the Red Fox Bar and Grille? What do you think?
