This morning we are enjoying some fresh snow up here in our Linderhof Chalet. While I'm enjoying my first cup of coffee and taking in the calmness of everyone sleeping in the house besides my two youngest little guys, I have been browsing Facebook and working on my listings for our short-term rentals. A great friend of ours just inquired about coming up here for a snowmobile trip and where the
best places to catch a trail would be so I've done some research and talked to some locals.
When we came up for my first snowmobile trip a little over 5 years ago we rented some from a place in North Conway called Northern Extreme Snowmobiling and hit the trails out right across the street from their North Conway Location. In a quick Google search, I found they also have a Bartlett location which is much closer to our 2 condos. We had SO MUCH FUN that day cruising all over the place! Now that we have 2 toddlers it's MUCH harder for us to get an afternoon or day to get to go enjoy that, but we're dreaming of sometime in the near future if we can bribe someone to take these guys off our hands for a bit! haha
When we purchased our 2 vacation rentals we worked with the most amazing real estate agent, EVER! Tanner Wheeler from the local RE/MAX assisted us and he was truly topnotch. He was born and raised in the valley so he knows everything about this area. I reached out to him to find out more from a local's perspective on where to link up to some snowmobile trails and he said Bear Notch Road in Bartlett Village is one of the closest access points to our condos and there's another in Conway over by Puddin Pond. You can also check out MMRSC which stands for the Mountain Meadow Riders Snowmobile Club. If a little travel isn't out of the question, the word on the street is that there is AWESOME snowmobiling action just over the notch in Gorham.
There are many great options for rentals and trails in the area! Come enjoy all of the fun the White Mountains have to offer and don't hesitate to reach out if you're looking for any other recommendations. Trail maps can be purchased at most of the local gas stations in the area and we will keep a few at the condos for reference.
